Mission Statement of the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center, Inc. (FLCAC)
The mission of the FLCAC is to enhance the quality of life in the Fayetteville-Lincoln County community through the presentation, education, and promotion of all types of art (including painting, sculpture, music, photography, crafts, dance, theater, and music). Our goal is to create cultural diversity, promote art interest, and encourage developing talent and creativity though our many programs and events.
Arts in the Community
Everyone (artist or art appreciator) is encouraged to support the FLCAC and help us reach our goals. The FLCAC organization membership is open to any non-profit group whose focus is a type of art. Individuals and families can join one or more of the FLCAC member groups and benefit from member-only opportunities in those groups. The Arts Center building is available for use by any member of one of the FLCAC member groups. The use must be art-related in accordance with the FLCAC mission, and a donation to the FLCAC is requested. All funds received are either distributed to one of the designated member groups or go into the FLCAC general funds.
Corporate or Patrons of the Arts Sponsorship
• Bronze: $250 to $499 per year
Plaque displayed at The Arts Center building, name mentioned in an annual article or advertisement in the
newspaper thanking all of the sponsors for that year, and name will be listed on Web site under “Sponsors.”
• Silver: $500 to $999 per year
All of the above plus thank you ad on Channel 6 (local cable) for 1 month and a thank you on the sign in front of The Arts Center building for 2 weeks. A free booth at one event held by the FLCAC.
• Gold: $1,000 to $1,499 per year (payments in 12 monthly installments allowed)
All of the above plus first donation payment (or lump sum) will be photographed and displayed at The Arts Center building and sent to the newspaper (with article). A free booth at all events held by the FLCAC.
• Platinum: $1,500 to $3,999 per year (payments in 12 monthly installments allowed)
All of the above plus name associated with up to four small events* per year in any advertising and banners. Sponsors are encouraged to provide banners to ensure that their logo is displayed.
• Titanium: $4,000 or more per year (payments in 12 monthly installments allowed)
All of the above plus sole sponsorship of one large event* per year. Advertising spotlight shared only with the FLCAC’s event-hosting member group.
* NOTE
Small Event: Cost is less then $2,500. Examples: Traveling Art Show (an invited out-of-town art organization holds an exhibit in Fayetteville), an individual activity (band, dancers, storytellers, etc.) at a large event.
Large Event: Cost is greater then $2,500. Examples: Art Camp, professional art auction, professional concert, etc. Having the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Art League paint a mural (maximum 60 sq ft) in their place of business or in a school of their choice (school murals must be approved in advance by the individual school administration).
Up to 35% of the sponsorship amount can be in the form of products or services needed by the FLCAC. Higher percentages are possible, but must be requested in writing and approved by the FLCAC board of directors. All donations are tax deductible and a copy of the 501(c)3 status document can be provided upon request.
